Karen is an experienced educator, avid reader and lifelong learner. She is passionate about raising kind, caring and active young people who know how to advocate for themselves, champion others and make a positive impact on the world. As an aspiring leader, Karen's strengths are connection, reflection and creativity.
Karen's purpose is to support people by helping them be reflective and feel connected, so that know and understand who they are and how they can make a difference to themselves and others.
Karen demonstrates curriculum leadership and strong pedagogy, is committed to continual development, gets the 'big picture', and embraces opportunities to lead colleagues. She seeks creativity and innovations to meet identified needs to improve student engagement and outcomes. Leading from the classroom and working supportively within teams, the wider staff, neighbouring schools and a national and international professional network, Karen welcomes the chance to learn from and share with others.
Studying a Diploma of Positive Psychology and Wellbeing.
